Silver City Drafter
The silver city drafter is available in either a full 'poley' style saddle or a swinging fender. It's more upright knee pad shape is designed to allow the rider to get forward over the horses neck whilst still offering the security needed when the horse decides its having a bad day. This saddle whilst offen used as a regular work saddle lends itself to uses such as campdrafting, novelties and trail riding.
Station Roughstock
This is the true work saddle in our range. Built from premium saddle leather and with knee pads set at a height and angle so as to allow you to get firmly under them, this is a true station saddle. When those camp horses want to give you an early morning wake up call this saddle will help you stay on top whilst still offering comfort to both horse and rider for the whole day.
All of our saddles are individually hand made for those people who want quality and comfort for both horse and rider. Our saddles are made to be both durable and comfortable in the most extreme work conditions in the world, the Australian Outback.
All our saddles are built on a rawhide covered timber tree by one of Australia’s top tree makers. The fenders are on stirrup bars and all rigging is covered so as to allow the fenders unrestricted movement. The 3 way rigging is sewn into the skirts which are sewn around the tree bars, thereby ensuring that when you girth up you are pulling the whole saddle down evenly with minimum bulking under the leg.
If you are considering a new saddle, talk to us. Whether you require a swinging fender or a traditional stock saddle, we can hand craft your personal requirements into our quality saddles. |
